Glenbrook Leisure Time. A unique attraction in Franklin for families to come and enjoy featuring a Large indoor model railway as well as a Ride-On Train. Great for birthday parties.

Motorhome association affiliated too. Open Sundays 10am to 4pm. A hobby model railway open to the public, we are located just 5 minutes drive from the historic Glenbrook Vintage Railway near Waiuku. $2 pp donation

Happy New Year everyone. Hope you had a wonderful time with family and friends We are making progress with repairs to our ride on engine and hope to have it running again soon ! Fingers crossed. We will be open as usual on Sundays from 10 am to 4 pm. See you soon.

Hello everyone. We will be open from Saturday 27 Dec to Tuesday 30 Dec. Closed on Wednesday 31 Dec 2025. We will reopen from Thursday 1 Jan to Sunday 4 Jan 2026. A very Merry Christmas to all and hope to see you soon.

Our ride-on engine is undergoing extensive repairs. It will be ready to get to work in the new year. A large tv screen has been installed in the lounge and you can select videos from the library to view while enjoying the facilities available at GLT. Please contact Bob or Julie on 09 235 9505 for information on how you can have your familiy get together at GLT.
