Print Workshop - Taupo
Taupo camera club, ran a print workshop this weekend. It
was advertised through PSNZ, so Isaac and myself had an
early morning start to drive to Taupo for the workshop. It
was ran by Rachael Smith (raheracreative.co.nz and Chris
Helliwell from Edges Art and Framing. It was a very useful
and interesting day, and I’m looking forward to trying out
some of the advice we received on how to print from our
own printers! It covered everything from printer profiles and
different types of paper. We all had the opportunity to make a
print and have it mounted. It’s amazing how different papers
effect the appearance of your digital photograph. Chris does
a lot of framing and printing for Photography Competitions
and Awards, and is very open to giving advice from sizing, to
what judges look for.

Hi All,

Our April meeting is our AGM and this will be held on APRIL 10TH 2023 @ the earlier time of 7pm and we have a very slight change of venue.

Due to our usual space at the Civic Centre being booked out for our time we will meet in the space across the foyer on playground side access through the main door. As there is not much in the way of kitchen facilities we will be unable to have our usual ‘cuppa’ after the meeting so please BYO water or tea coffee.

Sorry for this inconvenience but the rest of the year is locked in for our usual space.

Please consider putting your hand up for the committee be good to have some new blood.

Regards,

Julia Johnson
