We've been out decorating pine trees to prepare Christmas photos. Horrified to see plastic versions of these gorgeous miniature cones (Scots Pine) for sale everywhere. Why manufacture non-degradable versions when nature does it better!

Spring Garden - nothing is prettier than nature, even if it's just a few chunks of grass, and ivy covered swing and live flowers. Our final window display also features homemade bath salts (great for relaxing and detoxing), mugwort dream pockets, and lavender sleep sachets.

Shadows in the mist, downtown Wairoa - this display was made by piecing together a stag and fawn from skeleton leaves found on the floor of our little enchanted forest.

This week's window display was inspired by the colours of late winter - the wild snowdrops and lilies that grow on the farm, combined with the bright splash of oranges and lemons from the ripening fruit.

There is an endless assortment of wonderous creations and crafts that can be made with natural materials. I've started a pinterest collection focused on some of the best I've discovered, focused as much as possible on all natural ideas using the same or similar items to those in our little enchanted forest.
