There are so many people to thank—our performers, volunteers, local businesses, the Waipu Lions, parents, whānau, and everyone who helped make this event such a success.

Emma, your vision, determination, and tireless work to create opportunities for our young people to shine is truly inspiring. You don't just put on a show, you bring a community together and celebrate the talent that exists right here in Bream Bay.

Get ready to Rock the Rules, Waipu! 🎭🎶

Come along and support an original musical performed by talented Year 4–8 students from across the Bream Bay area.

These young performers have been working incredibly hard, and this is a wonderful opportunity to celebrate their creativity, confidence, and love of music and performance.

Bring your whānau, invite your friends, and help us fill the hall with encouragement and applause for our upcoming talent.

It promises to be a fun, entertaining event for the whole community.

⭐ Joan Kennaway Aria Competition ⭐
An aria competition in memory of Joan Kennaway, acclaimed Northland singer, voice coach, Opera North founder and director of Opera in the Garden, will be held during the NPACS 2025 Vocal competitions:
📅 19-20 September 2025.
📍 Capitaine Bougainville Theatre, Forum North, Whangarei.
🏆 Cash prizes:
1st place: $3,500 | 2nd place: $1,000 | 3rd place: $500.
🟢 Open to singers 18 years or over and under 31 years on 1 September 2025.
❗️ Limited to 12 competitors.
🔵 Entries are open now and close on Friday 27 June, at 5pm (or before if 12 fully paid entries are received.)
