🔎 THE UNSOLVED SOCIETY — THIS SUNDAY 🔎

Our first meeting is this Sunday, and it's all about figuring out what The Unsolved Society is going to become. 🕵️‍♀️

We’re going to look at unsolved cases from all over Te Waipounamu, the South Island — and we’re not limiting ourselves to one particular type of case.

Unsolved cases. Strange circumstances. Cases where there are unanswered questions. Old cases, newer cases… if it’s interesting and there are questions still waiting to be answered, it’s potentially on the table.

But we want YOU to help decide where we start.

So if you're coming along on Sunday, have a think about:

🔎 Are there any cases you're already interested in? Bring some info along if you want to!
📁 Is there a particular case you've always wondered about?
🧩 Is there a type of mystery you'd particularly like us to investigate?
💡 Have you got ideas for things you'd like to do as part of the Society?
🕵️‍♀️ Have you got ideas about how you'd like the group to work?

Bring your ideas, your questions, your random bits of knowledge and your curiosity. 😂

We’ll have a chat about all of this on Sunday, throw some cases into the mix, and work out together what our first season's investigation/s will be.

There’s no expectation to come every week, no experience required and no homework!

Just a bunch of curious people who fancy getting together and seeing what we can uncover.

🔎 THE UNSOLVED SOCIETY 🔎

Okay… now we can reveal a little more. 👀

The Unsolved Society is going to be a casual group for people who love a good mystery, cold case, or unsolved crime — and want to dig a little deeper.

We’ll look at real cases, examine the evidence, timelines, witness accounts and theories, and see what we can piece together as a group.

And we want to start local by considering cases from all over Te Waipounamu, the South Island.

The South Island has its share of cases that still leave questions unanswered. We’ll choose cases together and work through them together — no experience necessary, just curiosity and an interest in asking questions.

🕵️‍♀️ Our first meeting on Sunday 6th September from 4-5:30pm at 41 Queen St will be very informal.

No case to solve. No expectations.

Just come along, meet everyone, have a chat and see what sort of interest there is — and most importantly, tell us what case YOU would like to investigate.

Our first season will run from 6th September to 29th November. There will be no expectation to turn up every week; this is purely a casual group for those interested in this kind of thing.
