It's been a few weeks since our latest workshop. There's been no time to rest as I also freelance and work full time, so things have been abit hectic.

I'd like to thank those that came through, my whānau for your continuous support and Creative Bay of Plenty - Te Waka Auaha Toi for providing funding opportunities for kaupapa like this.

We'll continue to grow this workshop and hope that you guys will join us for the next one.

Workshop FAQs

Kia ora Dance Whānau! 💫

Excitement is building up for our upcoming dance workshop, and we've got the answers to your burning questions:

Dance gears: Comfort is key! Wear dance-friendly attire (loose clothing) – think freedom of movement!

🎒 What to Bring:

* Spare clothes if you fancy a quick change.
* Hydration is key, bring a water bottle.
* Lunch - pack a lunch for the day.

Payment Options:
* Cash is king, and we're also cool with bank transfers. We will have details on arrival.
* Spot an ATM on the main road for any last-minute cash needs.

🥤 Refreshments: We've got you covered with water on site and some light snacks, including fresh fruit. Feel free to bring your own lunch if you prefer something more substantial.

📝 Registration: No need to register in advance – just show up on the day, and we'll take care of the rest!

🌟 Open to participants aged 12 and over, as well as adults of all dance backgrounds and levels, this workshop is designed to bring our community together through the universal language of dance. 🤝

Whether you’re a seasoned dancer or taking your first steps onto the dance floor, our fusion of hip-hop styles creates an exciting blend of creativity, energy, and cultural diversity. 🌍

💫 Embrace the beats, connect with fellow dancers, and explore your own unique dance journey in a supportive environment. Our emphasis is on fostering a sense of belonging, where participants can express themselves freely and build confidence through the power of movement. 💪

👉 No dance experience required! Our workshop is crafted to be beginner-friendly, ensuring that everyone feels at ease while having a blast. Leave any hesitations at the door, and let the music guide you into the world of movement.
