" I S O L A T I O N 2020 "

This is my 30 day study of work by Ilya Volykhine, a Russian born artist living on Waiheke Island, Auckland. I will be framing this body work at a later date & putting it in my private art collection. The theme was A to Z with B, D, J & K added to make up 30 days. This coincided with the Covid-19 crisis. As an artist we take inspiration from other work by creative minded people. We see art in everything & think ... ummm I could adapt that to my style.

Thanks to Brenda, Derek, Joni, Helen, Karen & Michelle for participating in this challenge. Our studio is our isolation bubble. It was fun & gave us something to look forward to doing each day !!!

I will be using a similar technique in my next 100 Day Challenge starting on 1st May 2020 with a group of other Taranaki artist friends. Details out soon ... watch this space !!!
