🎟️TICKETING TEAM NEEDED🎟️

We need your help this season! We are on the lookout for a team to take over our public ticketing sales. This is perfect for a club or organisation fundraising for something who enjoy spending time at the speedway!

You'll need to commit to;
👉 4-5 people each event
👉 Gate staff must be 17+
👉 4:30pm arrival
👉 Attending our season's calendar
👉 Being our smiley, friendly face of Wellington Speedway!

What you'll receive;
👉 Donation per staff member or lump sum to club
👉 Entry into the speedway to watch once the gates close
👉 Support for all training and questions along the way!

We are live! Tickets for Opening Night on Sunday 25th October and the Renaye Huia Fireworks Spectacular on Saturday 7th November are on sale NOW! 🎟️

These events tend to be two of our biggest of the season, so secure your tickets early!

AFTERPAY is always available online, secure now and pay later!

This season, our online tickets will be cheaper than gate prices, so if you're planning on coming to an event, we recommend purchasing tickets online!

Memberships for the upcoming 2026-27 season are now open!

We have three membership options available at Wellington Family Speedway:

SOCIAL MEMBERSHIP — $30
Non-voting membership for those who want to be part of the club and stay in the loop.
• Close carpark privileges
• On all emailing lists for key information
• Added to our private Facebook group, where club information is shared before being released publicly
• No sign-in required for the Dub Club

NON-COMPETITOR MEMBERSHIP — $50
For our non-racers who still want to be a part of it all.
• All Social Membership benefits
• Full voting rights at the AGM

COMPETITOR MEMBERSHIP — $100
For all our competitors repping the Dub!
• Membership completed through SNZ licensing process

This season we are moving to Digital Membership Cards, so please ensure the photo you add to your licence or membership is the one you're happy to have on your card for the season. Social and Non-Competitor Memberships will be emailed an upload link following your purchase.

Memberships will be accepted on a fortnightly basis until the lead-up to the season, so please get your membership sorted in advance.

If you are a new member (including Youth), you will be required to send a blurb to [email protected] to explain a bit about yourself so we have an understanding of who we are accepting into our club. Please send this through after purchasing your licence or membership, this will be shared at committee.

🏁2026/27 SEASON CALENDAR - UPDATED🏁

Our season calendar has had a few updates. Here's what's changed...

👉 Practice 2/3 has moved a week earlier — it will now run Saturday 3rd October alongside PSI Rechecks. This frees up Saturday 10th October as a rain date if we need it.

👉 Saturday 28th November — Wellington Stockcars has been moved from this meeting due to local track clashes.

👉 Sunday 3rd January meeting has moved to Sunday 27th December, which will now be the Wellington Saloons + Wellington Stockcars Champs.

👉 Saturday 13th February — Wellington Streetstock Champs added.

👉 Saturday 20th February — Burnout Exhibition added, joining the Capital Ministock Cup + Production Saloon Champs.

👉 Saturday 20th March — Welly Superstock Champs added alongside the Derby. 𝘛𝘩𝘢𝘯𝘬 𝘺𝘰𝘶 𝘵𝘰 𝘰𝘶𝘳 𝘧𝘳𝘪𝘦𝘯𝘥𝘴 𝘢𝘵 𝘖𝘤𝘦𝘢𝘯𝘷𝘪𝘦𝘸 𝘚𝘱𝘦𝘦𝘥𝘸𝘢𝘺 𝘧𝘰𝘳 𝘵𝘩𝘦𝘪𝘳 𝘥𝘢𝘵𝘦 𝘴𝘸𝘢𝘱.

You'll see a few fundraisers roll out for the team, please support them where you can!

🚨2026-27 DRAFT CALENDAR🚨

Here is our draft season calendar for the upcoming season!

Club titles could change as we are working hard with our Lower North Island tracks to reduce clashes across the classes and create meetings that work for our competitors.

If there are changes, we will update these here and on our website.

We cannot wait to get back into the season, 89 days to go!

🏆 Speedway New Zealand Awards Night 🏆

Congratulations Kevin Win once again, for being awarded the Wendy Coutts Award for Contribution to Speedway!

Congratulations to one of our commentators, and member of our event sub-committees, Stu Russell, for being awarded Commentator of The Year also!

We were also proudly finalists in;
✨ Overall Club of The Year (Voluntary Run)
✨ Event of The Year - NZ Superstock Championship
✨ Promotional Item of The Year - NZ Superstocks Programme
✨ Community Initiative of The Year - Bike The Track

We'd also like to acknowledge Jesse Mcphee, 9W Ministock, who was a finalist for the Youth Ministock of The Year.

It is an achievement in itself to be recognized in the top three for these prestigious awards. Congratulations to all of the recipients and fellow finalists. Our sport is doing some pretty incredible things!

Thank you to all of our staff, volunteers, committee, competitors and members that earned these spots as finalists. A true credit to the love and dedication everyone puts in.
