Unfortunately both Josh and I are away this weekend representing Tūrangi at the District Graded Champs, so the gym will be closed. On the bright side, the weather is perfect for an outdoor climbing mission - no one wants to be inside anyway!

Just a note to say we WILL be open today until such a time that the cyclone closes us. We’ve decided that the cyclone closes us once the open sign blows over, haha!

Keep safe though and make good decisions (climbing is always a good decision, right?)

Its almost April, which means its Climbathon NZ time!

We'll have a few event this month to try help raise funds for ACAT NZ, our national access trust which campaigns for our climbers, especially in keeping crags open, and helping establish new ones.

A nationwide challenge to climb 100 routes or boulders this April to raise funds and support ACAT’s work connecting people, places, and climbing communities.

Routes or boulders, indoors or outside every climb counts. Together we’re aiming to raise $20,000 to support ACAT’s mahi keeping climbing access open for everyone.

We’re not open today (Waitangi Day), but you can find us up at Whakapapa Gorge having a crag day in the sun 😊 feel free to come say hi if you’re in the area!

The holidays have wrapped up. Sad for some, happy for others. Parents, you know who's who.

With that in mind, we're back to our 4 day hours. We're available 7 days a week outside these hours for pre-booked school groups or groups over 10, just give us a head up and we'll try to accommodate.
