Come along on Sunday, 6th September, from 11am til 4pm for a Fathers Day treat at one of Mid-Canterbury's favourite homes for heritage, The Plains Heritage Park!

Take Dad for a trip on speed-record setting Railcar, RM50 at The Plains Railway & Historical Museum then go for a spin on a fire engine with with the Ashburton Fire Museum. Pop into the Ashburton Woodworkers and Lynn Museum to learn all about the craft of woodwork then visit the Ashburton Steam and Model Engineers to marvel at the miniature engineering and ride one of their trains!

Johnatello’s Pizza Inferno will keep you fed so we'll see you on Sunday!

Come along on Father's Day, Sunday September 6th from 11am til 4pm to experience the sights and sounds of yesteryear! The Ashburton Model Engineers, Ashburton Fire Museum, Lynn Museum and Ashburton Woodworkers will have plenty for you to see and do!

The Plains Heritage Park is happy to be opening this Kings Birthday Weekend, Saturday and Sunday from 11am til 4:30pm - come see us before heading into Ashburton for the Glow In the Park event!

The Plains Railway & Historical Museum and Ashburton Fire Museum will be providing Fire Engine and Steam Train rides on Saturday with the Ashburton Steam and Model Engineering Club joining in on Sunday with Miniature Train Rides.

As always, there is a vast array of historical displays to discover and skills on show to learn about, PK’s Kitchen will be there if you're hungry, so come along this Kings Birthday Weekend and we'll see you then!
