BUSY TERM 3 - We had a very exciting fun filled “FUN DANCE DAY” at the Waimate Regent Theatre - beginners who have only had 8 lessons up to 20 performed on their own, on stage with their very own routine - very excited. Parents & Grandparents all got to see them on stage, friends & extended family also - I supplied them all with costumes, caregiver on the day got to do their hair & makeup & sparkles of course 😁💃🏼. We all thoroughly enjoyed it, plus 4 dancers from Oamaru also came with their supporters. Just some of the dancers in this photo with more to come

Love to see the Schools supporting the Performing Arts …. This is a post from Craighead 💃🏼🫶🏻

Olivia McLachlan and Emily Brown have been nominated for a National Young Performer Award in tap dancing. They will be competing at a national level later in the year for this title. The National Young Performer Awards are held every two years in each art form for nominated students between the ages of 15 to 21 years. The Awards are recognised as a pinnacle of achievement of the competitors and this nomination is testament to their hard work, skill and dedication to their art form. Extremely proud and looking forward to our trip away in October 2026.
