As most of you know, my life has been turned completely upside down this year.
In February I underwent life-saving brain surgery. I thought that would be the biggest challenge I'd face, but little did I know it was only the beginning of the s**t show
Not long after, I became a full-time father to my two beautiful girls, Haylee and Charlee, as their mother's mental health rapidly declined. I did everything I could to support her while also stepping up for the girls and trying to rebuild my own life.
Then, on the 5th of June, our world was shattered. I found the mother of my children after she had taken her own life π₯Ί
Since then, my focus has been entirely on my girls, making sure they're safe, loved, and supported while we try to process a loss that no family should ever have to endure. It's been the hardest period of my life, and there have been days where simply getting through the day felt like a victory.
That's why my page has been so quiet. Between the brain surgery, becoming a full-time dad, and everything that's happened since, I've been fighting battles on multiple fronts and trying to navigate emotions that are hard to put into words.
The girls and I are now slowly getting back into a routine, because routine is so important for kids, especially after such a massive upheaval in their lives. It's not always easy, but we're taking things one day at a time and finding our feet again.
For those wondering about work, tattooing is still very much a priority for me. I've had a few appointments and messages that I've been slower than usual getting back to, and I appreciate everyone's patience while I've worked through everything that's happened. Creating art and tattooing has always been a big part of who I am, and I'm looking forward to getting back into it properly as we continue rebuilding our lives.
I want to sincerely thank everyone who has reached out, checked in, offered support, sent messages, helped with the girls, booked appointments, or simply kept us in their thoughts. The kindness we've received has helped carry us through some incredibly dark days.
We're still healing, and there will be good days and bad days ahead, but we're moving forward together. Haylee and Charlee are my world, and they give me a reason to keep pushing forward every single day.
From the bottom of my heart, thank you all for your support, patience, and understanding. It means more than words can express. β€οΈ
