Thames Valley Motorcycle Club We have secured the lease on a good bit of flat land behind the Rugby fields at Rhodes Park, Ngati Maru Highway, Thames.

It is our ultimate goal to provide a top-class facility at this site, but this will take time and resources. To start with we will have a flat senior track, plus a pee wee track. As funds and time permit we will add jumps, berms, obstacles etc. First we need to obtain Resource Consent to shift dirt, this process is under way. As we are all volunteers and a not-for-profit organisation we would welcome and assistance you can offer.

What a day last Sunday was, for the hard trail ride.

Big thanks to everyone that turned up. The weather turned out perfect, big thanks to the marshals and everyone who helped on the day and before. Also thanks to the medics for coming out thankfully it was a quiet day.

Well the guys have been busy marking out the tracks ready for the hard trail ride tomorrow 11th of October.

We have a range of tracks, Gold A and B tracks. The full loop is 50km but there is a shortcut home about 30km around.

Bring cash for food, Waihi East School will be selling food as a fundraiser.

The weather look like it will be great and the tracks are looking pristine. See you tomorrow

Well we had an eventful but an awesome day at the same time. With riders turning up to support the schools and perfect weather, we couldn’t have asked for much more. We Would like to say a huge thank you to the Stanaway family and Leaches quarry’s for allowing us to use their land. Also a huge thank you to all the volunteers and TVMCC members that helped make the day happen, we couldn’t have done it without you guys.
