We aim to be an all inclusive, community focused space where anyone can come and learn to dance.

Kia Ora Embrace Studio followers!
I thought I'd drop by as I'm still getting a lot of messages and follows on this account.

My name's Amy and I set up Embrace Studio a few years ago after seeing a massive gap in the market in the Coromandel Peninsula area. Unfortunately due to life changes and an empty financial kete to expand, I closed last year.

At present, I am not running any classes in Thames, however I am available for private lessons in Auckland. At some point I would love to be able to be more active here but in the meantime you can keep up with my shenanigans and contact me on .unflexy.poler .

There is also a new studio in Hauraki called Hauraki Haven, aerial and fitness. I highly encourage you to support local at this time if you have capacity to do so.

It is with a heavy heart that we announce we will not be resuming classes for the forseeable future at Embrace Studio.

While we have not been running classes for over a year, we had hoped to resume classes soon. However the financial challenges of commercial rental availability and prices in the district, combined with starting during covid means there is nothing left in the kete to financially continue or start back up. We are deeply grateful for the support and enthusiasm you've shown, as even while closed the amount of enquiries we have received has been humbling.

While this decision is incredibly difficult, it is necessary under the circumstances.

Thank you for being a part of our journey so far. We appreciate every one of you. We won't say goodbye, as we certainly hope to be back at some point in the future.

With some more bad weather on the way and states of emergency, we wanted to slide in with some good news ahead of this weekend 👀

We will have some one off classes coming up at the end of February and for the first couple of weekends in March. Tag a friend who might be keen and stay tuned for bookings opening soon 💗

Last year we said farewell to Matatoki where we have ran our terms since we began.

What was once the old cheese making factory has seen many different uses since then and is now on its way to its next adventure.

While we are looking for a new venue, we have been on a social media hiatus and many of you have wondered where we have gone. Rest assured, we are still here and still working behind the scenes to bring you a new term as soon as we can 👀

We hope you all have a restful break over Christmas and New years and look forward to seeing you soon
