Earlier this year I took on the management role where I work. Although I love what I do, working full time (for the first time since I’ve had kids) has certainly been next level for me..
Weekends have been for playing catch up around the house or with the family but I’ve found most of my energy and spare moments have gone into work and time for myself has fallen by the wayside.
So as a birthday treat for myself I’ve taken the week off to reset my body and hopefully a little of my mind 😅
What better way to start my staycation by picking up the tools for the first time again in about 5months!!
Starting off small and slightly wonky but enjoying the process again. Have to remember it’s all about balance! 🥰

She’s definitely a bit wobbly on it 😂 first time painting in MONTHS. Lucky it’s just on an old warped tray from ,so it doesn’t matter too much!

I’ve been lucky enough to not have too much to bring home from the shop🥰. However I still have this lot looking for new homes!
