It has been so long since I left NZ, all for a well-intended 3 months which has turned into almost 4 years now!
I figured a life update was very much needed 😅
So, as you all probably know - I first came here all the way back in 2021 to be with family. My brother had just had his first son and it was such a blessing to get to be a hands on Aunty and watch him grow.
Now it's 2025 and I have 3 more nephews (my other brother also had 2 sons)! They are all adorable obviously, and I love to get to wipe the worries of the world away by being silly with them, and explore the world for the first time again.
I lived for the longest amount of time ever in one place (3 years!) - a cosy home by the beach. However I got bored (obviously) and longed for my old vanlife back. I have been blessed with JackyVan recently, it is now my 3rd month doing van life again.
I have acquired a new best friend, a beautiful old cat called Graham. He goes with me everywhere and he truly is my soulmate.
Although I have done some dreadwork here and there, I have mostly been expanding my resume with everything from cat sitting to scare-acting to office work. My hands long to be creative again, it is finally time to come back to this wholesome, cute little business that I created with you wonderful people all those years ago.
I hope everyone is doing well, post COVID, (mid) recession, with all the changes in your lives that we have to catch up on next time I do your hair. Although I am not coming back to NZ just yet, (I can't wait to soon!) I will keep you all posted on that one!
