16 years of commitment to following the restoration of the Denny Hulme McLaren CanAm car brought another high point in the story. The car ran nearly 50 laps of Hampton Downs with sponsors and supporters getting rides on October 3rd and 4th. I was one of the lucky recipients of a ride in this incredible race car.

While in Queensland Australia to shoot the TransTasman Musclecar event the Kiwis were invited to the private museum of the Bowden family. One of my favourite all time musclecars is the Allan Moffat CocaCola Boss Mustang. Thanks to Javman for snapping me in excitable mood.

Sometimes you are just "right place, right time". Robbie and Craig synchronised their acts at Hampton Downs in the early stages of the 2013 New Zealand Superbike TT. Both fell without injury or other major damage and live to fight another day - Taupo next weekend for the final round.

We're off to Wanganui on December 26 for the 60th anniversary Cemetery Circuit Motorcycle racing. A big field of overseas riders expected for this year's event and it will be going out to TV1 in January.
