Rose, clary sage, juniper, white sage, mugwort, patchouli and lavender are just some of the botanical ingredients used in the Harmonics incense blends. Many from my garden.

Quite a few people have mentioned to me recently that they don’t like incense, and for good reason. Most incense found on the market today is dipped in synthetic fragrance oils or made with artificial aroma compounds and chemical binders designed to enhance aroma and linger longer. The truth is, these are harmful to our health.

Tree resins are the heart of my incense blends. They are rich in complex aromas and antimicrobial properties, which contributes to why they have been used throughout history.

I treasure these resins deeply and love working with them in balms and salves too. Topically, they are potent healers.

Many resins are overharvested, always check the origin and if its been ethically sourced.

This harvest of white sage from my garden has been dried after losing some branches in storms we had over a month ago.

White sage has long been deeply revered in ancient American traditions. Its grounding, cleansing and helpful in shifting energy within a space.

It grows well in our climate and I love having this magical herb in my garden.

Its earthy, herbal aroma is strong and slightly bitter but blends so beautifully with other herbs.
I add this to my White light, Sacred space and Rebirth incense blends.
