Wings of the Pūriri by Millie Pidwell has just been added to the City Art Walk website.
Tauranga’s newest city centre artwork is an interactive celebration of Aotearoa’s native flora and fauna, inspired by the pūriri moth. Look closely and you’ll find pūriri leaves, ferns, moths and a cheeky pīwakawaka woven through this beautiful mural.
Created as a new take on the much loved Wings to Fly mural on The Strand, the artwork, located on Grey Street, invites you to step into the wings, take a photo and become part of the piece.
