It’s next weekend guys.

This June I’ll be doing a demonstration on a cool black pine! And have about 4 trees in this show- These shows are a lot of work to put on and need support. We need these shows in New Zealand as they provide a great learning experience for new people and experienced alike. So come along , say hello and see if your a bigger bonsai nerd then me!

What a great meeting today. Thank you so much Sandra for sharing your expertise with us. We all enjoyed your presentation on NZ native shohin and mame and your critique of members trees gave us plenty of ideas on developing them further. Great day - enjoyed by all.

*Display Table: late autumn
For this meeting the club has engaged NZBA approved demonstrator Sandra Quintal from the Hamilton club. Sandra will be doing a presentation and also offering advice on our club members trees. So please bring along a bonsai you would like help with. I’m sure Sandra’s advice will help enormously. She presented to our club a couple of years ago and everyone found her very helpful and it was a great day.
Door fee is $4 but first visit is free.
Come and enjoy a cup of tea or coffee with us.

Hi everyone
Hope you are all hanging in there with this very changeable weather we are having - a bit of a challenge.
Just a reminder of our Club meeting this Sunday 26th April.

Legion of Frontiersmen Hall situated at the bottom of Elizabeth Street from 1.00pm to 4.00pm.

The Display Table is bonsai in mid-Autumn, a good time to show off your bonsai in Autumn colours.

Door fee is $4 but first visit is free.

A great meeting today - thanks to all those people who attended. It was interesting to see some results of the trees Adriaan and Poppie gave to the club last year and thank you John for your interesting talk on bonsai design and presentation techniques.
