nic beauty of this medium. Isaac's creative expression ranges from sculpture to art panels. He produces high quality gallery work and is inspired by the changing textures and colours of the materials he crafts from. Isaac works closely with his clients to capture their vision when engaged to create a commission piece. Isaac's art works feature in permanent public gardens at the Tauranga Historic Village, Tauranga Racecourse and the Te Puna Quarry Park. They also appeared in magazines, online news stories and on TV. One of his 1.6mt Copper Patina Art Circles featured in the winning lounge room on The Block NZ 2021. He has been a guest artist at the Bay of Plenty Garden and Art Festival for 2018 and 2020 and will appear again in 2022. Isaac's work can be seen at the galleries and garden centers listed below under the brands of "Re.Work.It" and Isaac Weston Artist". It's always a laugh-filled visit when Claudia and Isa from T H E M A N D A R I N T R E E come to town! 🧡🧡

The ladies were on an art-collecting mission across the Bay, and we were stop #2 on a very busy itinerary, so naturally we made the most of the visit, with tea, biscuits, and plenty of catching up.

A set of copper kawakawa leaves and two art panels found their way into the car, and I'll be following up with a vanload of artwork in the coming weeks 🙌 Can't wait!

There’s nothing better than seeing a “Congratulations” message pop up from The Mandarin Tree ✨Sea Nymph has officially found a new home with a Wellington art group, how cool is that?!

This artwork was a true labour of love and one of those pieces that took soooo many hours, layers, and a whole lot of patience to bring to life. It’s awesome knowing it will now be enjoyed by a group of art lovers.

Today I had the opportunity to present one of my artworks as an option for The Northern Group’s office in Tauranga CBD.

Director Lee Stringer was incredibly welcoming, and it was a great experience to meet him and see their impressive CBD office space. Even better, Lee loved my Copper + Steel artwork Seasons II, and it’s now proudly greeting new clients in the front foyer.

A big thank you to Olivia from Spacefully Yours for suggesting my work would be a great fit for the space, she was absolutely right. 🙂

Today’s soundtrack: me vs a hot water cylinder, carving through layers to get to the good stuff.

Under all that foam is copper with a past life, and that’s where the magic starts.
