Painted 3 weeks apart. Grids, drips and blue trees. I painted (or at least started) about 7 paintings in between, experimenting and playing.

The first one is from my imagination, the 2nd from a reference photo I took on a walk with a friend. Both capturing that delightful green plus sunshine relaxation experience.

Which one do you prefer? Left or right?

Also do you have a favorite local spot for a walk where you are immersed by trees?

I've lost count of the number of iterations this tree painting has been through. I decided today is the day the masking tape comes off- no more changes.

I'm trying to capture the feeling of fluttering leaves, dappled sunshine and the bursting life of spring. It makes me very happy- how about you?

Any ideas for a name?
