CHASING RABBITS DANCE THEATRE' would like to take this moment to thank everyone for the overwhelmingly successful season of FORMLESS EDGE.

To everyone involved that made it possible for this show to now be a tangible living thing in this world,

To all the friends, family, supporters, and creative collaborators and of course to our beautiful generous audience.

Thank you, thank you thank you!

What an amazing weekend that was, to hold space for our audiences, to create art, to invite you all back into nature, to take a moment from the chaotic world and just breath and be where our feet are in the sweet nectar of the here and now.

It was all so so special and we are so thankful and humbled to have shared Formless Edge with you.

It takes a village, and to make something that incredible takes a lot of hard work from so many wonderful, gifted, and giving people. We are so thankful to have shared the space with many other talented artists and creators and we are excited to continue with these collaborations and connections.

Thank you to Gonzalo Javier (Soul Brucke) what you made was pure magic and we were so honored to feel so supported by your music. What you made is a gift to this world.

A work purely based on Utter Oneness.
This immersive new contempoary dance show acts as a reminder that we are all connected together in this universe.
We are all apart of the eternal vibrations of the universe, and part of the sound vibrations of all creations that resonate through out every atom of every beings bodies.
We are all the same and we have all come out of this earth not onto it! The world is coming from us not at us.
Let us be unified by our similarities and not disconnect by our differences.

My dream started at the age of 9. Born in Argentina but citizen of the Universe, I grew up pulling apart gadgets, fascinated by every stuff with cables, buttons and k***s. Experimenting with all kind of music drove me into different approaches, playing drums, playing guitar, and of course, DJing. But it took me a long time to know who I am, what I am and what is my role in this life.

On 2013, I turned myself into "Soul Brucke", an ambitious project based on giving to the people what music gave to me: a way of living inspired by love and energy. Soul Brucke means "bridge between souls", and that's what I want to do through my music, to build energetic bridges between everyone's souls and become one huge energy unit.

Musically speaking, my sound is something between techno and tech house with some influences of progressive melodies combined with deep and twisted sounds. My music is for dancing and traveling to the deepest places of your mind, your soul and your heart.

Josie dived into the dance scene at a young age and has never looked back, competing nationally, internationally and representing Tauranga at the prestigious National Young Performer awards in 2019. Training at KJ Studios Josie then moved swiftly into a full time teaching and management role within the studios, she loves that she gets to teach, create and dance every day.

Being a bit of a foodie, studying Integrative nutritional and health coaching, Josie is also passionate about helping young girls on their heath Journey and her business ‘Better Being’ allows Josie to holistically and whole fully support dancers and others outside of this sector though mentorship and guidance.

Josie is looking forward to being a part of Chasing Rabbits Dance Theatre’s inaugural work and can’t wait to see what the future holds for this incredible Company.

Kate Davey has a strong connection to dance and the arts. Growing up in the Bay and training across all styles of dance Kate quickly found her passion for Contemporary- Dancing under Jasmine Sargent in ‘Contrast Dance Company’ and then moving to Melbourne, Australia to study full time dance at Transit. Since moving back to NZ and switching it up and studying at New Zealand Broadcasting school, Kate has remained in the dance scene and her choreography has gained top 12 placings in New Zealand National Young Performer group sections.

Kate is excited to be dancing herself again in ‘Formless Edge’ and to be a part of this amazing Contemporary Company.
