Kia ora whānau,
I have some deeply personal and beautiful news to share 🤍 my partner and I are expecting a baby!
As many of you know, tattooing has always been more than skin-deep for me. It’s a sacred exchange, a rite of passage, a ceremony. And now, I’m stepping into one of life’s most profound ceremonies myself: becoming a parent.
In honour of this new chapter, I’ll be taking a step back from tattooing starting around the end of November 2025. This pause is to fully embrace this transition — to nest, breathe, and prepare to welcome our little one into the world with presence and love.
While I’ll be slowing down during my parental leave, I won’t be stopping completely. I hope to keep creating — through personal artwork and possibly some small, intentional art workshops. If you'd like to stay connected, please keep following my socials for updates along the way.
If you have an ongoing project with me or you’re hoping to book in before I take leave, please feel free to email me and I’ll do my best to fit in what I can before stepping away.
Thank you for walking this journey with me — whether I’ve tattooed you once or many times, it’s always been meaningful.
I’m so grateful for your support, patience, and for the sacred space we’ve shared together.
I look forward to returning when the time feels right — with even more heart to offer 🤍
Arohanui,
Julie
