with mid-winter fun as the Wairakei Estate Ice Rink and MB Century Ice Slide returns as part of the Malcolm Flowers Insurances Taupo Winter Festival to skate away the mid-winter blues from Friday 30 June – Sunday 16 July. The fully covered, 10m x 25m, 5 metres longer than previous years, 100% pure ice rink provides revelry for all ages and the 33m MB Century Ice Slide will have you smiling from ear to ear! Wrap up warm in your winter woollies and come and have some icy fun at The Wairakei Estate Ice Rink and MB Century Ice Slide! On the ice, it’s the perfect day or night out! The ice rink is covered making it perfect to visit in all weather. Explore, create, learn, glide and slide and have fun in this winter wonderland! If you’re looking for an icy winter treat, you will find it at the Wairakei Estate Ice Rink and MB Century Ice Slide this July. Please note minimum age for ice skating and the ice slide is 3 years. Pre-schoolers need to be with an adult on the ice slide. We recommend the wearing of gloves and helmets. Children 6 years and under are required to wear a helmet. We carry a supply of helmets but recommend bringing your own helmet where possible.
