Huge well done to all our dancers on Thursday night!

That was the tough week. The hard part is done!

A brand-new pattern always asks a bit more of the brain and the feet, and you all did brilliantly as we work our way through Foxy II. There were definitely a few moments of “wait... what foot am I on?” 😄 But that’s all part of the fun.

Just one more set of 4 moves to add next Thursday, and then we get to go right back to the beginning, smooth it out, polish it up, and really make the whole Foxy II pattern flow.

That’s when the magic starts happening, when the thinking drops away, and the dancing kicks in. ✨

Thanks for bringing the energy, the laughs, and the willingness to learn.

Yes, we’ve kicked off our brand-new Foxy II pattern, and it’s packed with a great collection of moves that we know you’re going to love.

If you’re confident in your Basestep basics and have completed a previous pattern, now’s the perfect time to jump back in and join the rest of the class as we work through the current pattern together.

Need a quick refresher? No problem. Come along a little early and brush up on your basics before class.

A little apology from us, we’re sorry for the delay in finally sharing last term’s pattern.

Here it is at last, the Passorta Pattern. Thank you for your patience while we got it ready to publish.

We are currently working on Foxy II, which feels like the perfect fit for Term Two, with a bit of a foxy start to the year.

Looking ahead, if there’s enough interest, we may look at running a Plus class next term, with more focus on the 23 beginner moves. That would also give anyone who is keen on the CMJ Dance Champs a chance to start training and building towards that.

It’s exciting to see where things could go from here, and we’re looking forward to growing both confidence and capability on the dance floor.

Let us know if a Plus class would be something you’d be interested in.

Missed our last two nights? No worries!

This week is the last chance for absolute beginners to jump into our current Basestep Beginners class before we move further into the pattern.

If you couldn’t make it to the 1st week or last Thursday, you can still join us. Just arrive 15 minutes early at 6:45 PM, and we’ll get you caught up with what we covered in week one so you’re ready to dance with the rest of the crew.

We’re also looking for a few extra men to help balance the class, so guys, this is your chance to get on the dance floor, have a laugh, and give it a go.
