Taupo Art in the Park is a weekly outdoor exhibition where local artists and craftspeople display and sell their own creations.

At Art in the Park one can find:

Woven scarves and knee rugs

Paintings framed or on canvas, using acrylic, oil or water colour paint - beautiful scenes from around the lake and other parts of the country, and also automotive themes

Impressive photography

Unique handmade pottery

Fine handmade jewellery

Cutlery Art...birds etc made from recycled cutlery
Beautiful metal sculptures featuring New Zealand birds and fish.

Taupō’s iconic Art in the Park is on this King’s Birthday Weekend!

This is our final weekend for the season, so don’t miss out. We’ll be back again at the beginning of September!

Unfortunately Art in the Park has been rained off today.
A heavy rain shower had us all rushing to pack up . We were hopeful that the predicted showers would bypass us ..the weather gods had other ideas.
