Art in the Park

Art in the Park Taupo Art in the Park is a weekly outdoor exhibition where local artists and craftspeople display and sell their own creations.

At Art in the Park one can find:


Woven scarves and knee rugs

Paintings framed or on canvas, using acrylic, oil or water colour paint - beautiful scenes from around the lake and other parts of the country, and also automotive themes

Impressive photography

Unique handmade pottery

Fine handmade jewellery

Cutlery Art...birds etc made from recycled cutlery
Beautiful metal sculptures featuring New Zealand birds and fish.

Unfortunately, even though it is a sunny day it is still blowing , making it too windy for the artists . So today's Art in the Park is Cancelled.
Hopefully next Saturday will be a bit nicer.

Taupō’s iconic Art in the Park is on this King’s Birthday Weekend!
