Mo & Claire are trained and experienced arts facilitators with a passion to maximize creative opportunities for people who, for whatever, reason find it difficult to access mainstream activities. We work with people with diverse needs including those with a developmental/learning and/or physical disability and others who may find it difficult to access mainstream activities. We work with children

(over 11 years), young adults, adults & seniors. We provide a safe and supportive environment where creativity is actively encouraged and where art works of merit are produced. We provide a wide range of art projects which will promote individuality, imagination and fun. The projects are individually designed to suit each persons abilities. We aim to exhibit annually and promote artists work where possible. We work with individuals and groups & facilitate/design one off workshops

We can bring the creative project to any location. For group work we can work out of the studio

Art Adventure had its first session with 2 students in March 2009, using a room at Birkdale House, the moved into Studio 5 at The Wilson Centre in June 2009 and have been able to offer a wide range of creative projects to a diverse range of people ever since.

15 people from The New Dawn partnership have begun their latest creative journey. The exhibition entitled "Elements" will be held in the main gallery at The Lake House, Takapuna at the beginning of September. We will keep you posted.
