Free event in Sefton tomorrow Sunday 23 August 1-4pm 🌳🌻🤸‍♀️

Head along to Sefton Pavilion for an afternoon of play, creativity and kai thanks to the support of Waimakariri District Council and Play Preservation Trust.

Adventure Seekers is a Sefton-based youth group for girls aged 6–12, creating space for friendship, creativity, nature and adventure. They need 2 leaders to join Jo Simpson, so they can relaunch the youth group in Term 4. More details on link below.

Change of Hall Custodian

Hello everyone.

My name is
Marea McLennan
and I’m the new custodian of the Sefton Hall.

I live in Sefton Village and work full-time as a Property Manager with Rent Right Property Management in Christchurch.

Wanting to give back to the community, I volunteered to take on the role of Hall Custodian.

I’m looking forward to meeting many of our local residents and helping with your hall hire needs.

I would also like to sincerely thank Max McMillan our outgoing custodian for all of her hard work and continued support. 😊

Sefton Hall – Volunteer Custodian Wanted

We’re looking for a new volunteer custodian for the hall.

This is a voluntary position involving only a few hours each month. Duties include handling booking enquiries, occasionally showing prospective hirers through the hall, and preparing monthly invoices for regular users.

We’re having a Sefton Hall Committee meeting and would love for you to come along!

It’s all pretty relaxed – just a chance to find out what’s happening with the current hall and how plans to build the new hall are progressing.

A big thank you to the 10 teams who took part in our Hall Quiz Night on 25th March—what a great evening it was! 🎉

We’re very grateful to Toby and Jackie for kindly letting us use the function room at The Sefton Hotel, and to Stan for donating some brilliant raffle prizes.

Thanks to your support, it was another successful fundraiser for the hall, raising just over $1000. We appreciate your support —events like this wouldn’t be possible without you!
