NGĀ MARAE O NGĀTI MĀKINO – Tapuaeharuru 🌿

Whakarehurehu ana taku nei kā whakamau atu ki runga o Te Tautara i Tapuaeharuru e. Ko te aitanga a Tamateatutahi a Kawiti e. Nāna ko Mākino kā moe i ā Te Rarereiao, p**a ana ki waho ko ngā uri ē whakataukitia nei; “Hē taniwha ngā tāngata, hē paruparu ngā kai ē!”

Ānei te marae e tū nei, Ko Tapuaeharuru - Uruika II

As we acknowledge 15 years since settlement, we also acknowledge the people who continue to breathe life into our marae. It is through their aroha, manaaki and commitment that these places remain strong, ensuring future generations are able to come home.

He mihi aroha ki ngā whānau o Tapuaeharuru, ki ngā ringa raupā, ngā ringa manaaki me te ahikā e pupuri tonutia te mana o te marae. E kore te aroha e maroke i te rā, ka pupū tonu mō ake.

Ka nui te aroha e te whānau,
Ngā Poumahi o Ngāti Mākino Iwi Authority.
