Weekend mission...all crafters and makers want an Instagram worthy workroom/studio, but this is mine. An endless story of rearranging, shuffling and using non practical storage because you want it to look beautiful and plastic storage containers cause an allergic reaction! So for now I'm trying fixed shelving that I had, hoping to find some order in the chaos. Wish me luck....ps...there's still the garage with all the other crafting stuff....

It is one of those perfect blue sky days in the Bay of Plenty, sunshine, birdsong and a cool breeze.
Finally, sort of, finished my potting table corner. I love to collect and gather on our walks in the forest, so naturally, one must have somewhere to display all these things. Free pavers off marketplace, a free table from the side of the road, an awesome crate also from the road side all completed with moss, vines, rotting bits of wood, rusty iron and pinecones, just a few of my favourite things.....only a few more sleeps till Spring.

We have entered our new "Selah Season". Selah - is a pause, a break, a stop, a time made to calmly reflect and ponder all that has gone before and what perhaps might lay ahead.
During this time I've been finishing a few of my million unfinished ideas - one included reframing this antique oil painting with a beautiful vintage frame I have been hanging onto for years.
The antique extension ladder is a gift from a beautiful customer and Rotorua Artist. She used it as an easel in her studio. I like to think it holds creativity in its core and this permeates my house. She was always sharing with me stories of what she had made from the bits and pieces she purchased over the years, from the shabby chic ribbon she added to the hem & collar of her dearly departed husbands shirt, to the pieces of linen muslin she bought to hanging as curtains or the candlesticks she bought too many of....these are the bitter sweet memories of the lives that came through our store and wove themselves into the story of Grace and Glory.

Think we might be at the final curtain call....parting is such sweet sorrow...but 60% off helps as well as 60% off all sale products! Thank you for so many kind emails, messages and comments...it has bought a few tears and lots of lovely memories.
The best buys are now are tinware, such lovely gifts filled with home baking, treasures and craft supplies. Our last few christmas decor items are pretty much been given away to good homes!
