Introducing Mark Tomer!

Mark has studied martial arts for nearly 50 years, and during those years attended schools headed by Chinese, Korean, and Japanese Masters. Mark has practiced Tai chi for 28 years and taught for 9 years including 3 years in Rotorua.

Tai chi classes are every Friday at 12.30pm. If you are interested, please contact reception [email protected] or call down and see us!

What a year 2025 has been - we were so lucky to find the space at Budokan Rotorua to continue our classes, I've survived a knee replacement to be able to carry on moving (pain free too!), we've made new friends, farewelled a few and had a load of laughs along the way.
Thank you to everyone who has been a part of this journey. Here's to a peaceful and safe Christmas and look forward to dancing with you all again in the New Year 🍾🥳
PS: First class back is Tuesday 6 January 2026!

After 14 years at Parksyde Community Centre our ZUMBA GOLD classes are on the move - we have loved the space but have now outgrown it and need more room to move.

We are very fortunate to be allowed to use the gym at Budokan Rotorua, 163-167 Lake Road, Rotorua and are very much looking forward to starting there from next Tuesday, 12 November 2024.

Things to Note:
New Start Time - 9:00am
Same price - $7 casual or $60 for 10 classes
Age restrictions - None
Please bring clean footwear with you to change into as we need to protect the floor.

I'm looking forward to seeing you all there to continue with our morning groove!
