With a nod to ANZAC Day with New Zealand's first recorded song, Blue Smoke, and one or two new numbers, our regular crew were on to it. Some very lovely community singing!

So nice to see a couple of fresh faces too, hope you enjoyed your afternoon, come again.

A very plucky Richard chose to give us the tricky song, Seventeen in open mic yesterday, oh yes, along with the challenge for others to have a go. We're up for that!

And the award for best supporting act goes to Warren on Des' new song Sidelines.

A reminder that the next UkeBox is at a venue to yet be named. To make sure you are in the know, sign up to our newsletter list.So far the suggestions are:
Aroma (may be a bit cold for May and June)
Lakes Village on Pukehangi Road (confirmed available, no charge but parking is limited)
St Barnabus (Ngongotaha)
Arawa Bowling Club
The Gardens

Send any brainwaves this way.

Any suggestions for a replacement venue - it's a bit cold to sit in the park!
