Some stellar names in our remembrance section this month: Bonnie Tyler - who could ever forget It's a heartache and our very own wonderful Sam Neil who loved the little ukulele. You might say it helped keep him sane during COVID lockdowns. We'll feature All About the Bass.

We channelled our best Gingham sisters for UkeBox last Sunday. Unfortunately the 4th twin was unwell and couldn't join us. Hope you all had a ball - we did!
Thanks for entertaining us Richard Mills, The (Arts) Village People and Sylvia & Lyndsay. Will post some more and look forward to seeing you all back in our less salubrious surroundings of Te Rūnanga Sunday 19 July.

Here’s your chance to join the wonderful Jane Solly at The Arts Village and learn to play ukulele.

Jane’s class for absolute beginners begin Thursday 23 July. If you get in quickly, you‘ll be one of the lucky 12 to learn.

When you have a few chords under your belt you can join Jane, her students and all the other fabulous friendly strummers that come along to UkeBox for a fun Sunday afternoon of sing/strum along.
