Coming soon to - a very limited amount of the all-new Silky Takibi, a pocket size campfire.
In Japanese, Takibi means "“open-air fire,” commonly referring to a bonfire or outdoor fire used for warmth, cooking, or burning garden refuse. And Silky have said this about their new little friend...
"Don’t call us 'rejects.' At Silky, our quality standards are borderline obsessive. A fraction of a millimeter of warping, a single microscopic scratch—and our journey to becoming a saw is instantly cut short. Normally, we’d be tossed straight into the furnace to melt into nothingness. But someone spoke up: 'There’s no way in hell we’re letting this high-carbon steel die like that.' So, we evolved. From blades that cut, into a shield that holds the fire: pocket takibi—the ultra-compact campfire gear.
• Scratches are Badges of Honor: Scuffs and raw surface textures aren't defects—they’re proof we survived the brutal selection process. Season them dark and rugged in your own campfires.
• Strictly Limited Run: We only exist because of the steel that didn't make the cut. No factory line, no mass production. Just pure, accidental exclusivity.
We refused the scrap heap. Now, let us burn bright in your pocket."
Keep an eye out for these when they arrive in NZ. They'll go quick!
