Have finally finished this large Diamond Art - 50cm by 70cm. So pleased with the result. I hunted high and low for this design in Diamond Art. I have the full picture in a Cross Stitch pattern which shows the lady on a horse in a field with the Knight. Couldnt see myself ever attempting that these days, have too many other things on the go -LOL

Just have to seal the diamonds and hang.

Had a break from spinning today and made some soaps. Trying different methods to see what the results are. Pleased with these ones. Fragrance's - King & Queen - Lotus Flower and Paw ones -Black Raspberry

The paw ones will be a set of 2 bars making a total of 180 gms. The King and Queen was divided up into 3 so they are 140gms each.

My first 200gms is off the Niddy Noddy. This fiber shows up every imperfection but it will add the texture to the weave -lol. I wish I could send the feel of this over the waves as it is extremely soft. It is really beautiful. Haunui Wool

Will do the other 400gms then wash to set twist.

No spinning being done the last two days been laying Garage Carpet, pattern designed by Dad, so I can tick this one off as been done. Found muscles I havent used in a while too by the way! Saved Dad $2000 to lay as I said it cant be that hard to do.

Haunui Wool - new fibre blend of haunui, camel and silk - Well my first 100gms is spun, took me a while to get the tension correct as this fibre just guilds thru your fingers. I did a 100gms today - in record time! I dont think I have spun anything like this before - it is seriously silky smooth and the e-spinner struggled to get a handle on it. Well probably me -lol Just another 500gms to go. I might of mastered it by then!!

After alot of swearing at NZ Post - my parcel did arrive today even though tracking was saying otherwise! I had images of me going to Dad's for a week and not having the fiber I so wanted to spin!.

My Sourdough Loaves for today - used Chili Oil, Spring Onions and cheese. Might have been a bit heavy handed with the Chili Oil but will have to wait and see once they cooled down.
