Our New Exhibition Starts Today 🎨
Five new artists, five completely different worlds. Starting today and running through to 5 October, our latest exhibition brings together:
🐚 Beth McMillan — playful blue-and-white coastal pieces
🏔️ Hugh Sutherland — dramatic landscapes
🌊 Marion Henderson — soft watercolours of the Kāpiti coastline
🎨 Lindsay Blakely — bold, textured abstract paintings

Spotlight On: Sam Rodgers

Look closely at any of Sam's pieces in the "Inner Circles" series and you'll notice the layers — dense fields of dotwork built up stroke by stroke, giving each painting a real sense of depth and slow, meditative rhythm. It's easy to see why he describes each piece as a kind of visual meditation.
Well worth spending a few extra minutes in front of these ones.

Spotlight On: Jenny Pritchard

If you've walked past Jenny's wall and not stopped at "A Splash of Purple," go back and take another look. It's a bold departure from her landscape work — deep purples and pinks bleeding into soft greens, with all the loose, unpredictable magic that first drew Jenny to watercolour. It's a lovely reminder of just how versatile the medium can be in her hands, from wide coastal views to a single, close-up bloom.
