Watching creativity unfold is always the best part. 🎨
These two tweens explored process art through printing, line making, layering, transparent glazes, colour mixing and texture—discovering that there isn’t just one “right” way to create.

A creative morning in the studio today 🌸

I’ve been working on a new mixed-media painting that holds a little history — antique wallpaper from an 1890s home collaged into the surface, along with crushed Castle Hill stone from the area where my great-great-grandmother farmed. Blue and pink petals flow through the piece, symbolising happiness and new beginnings around the homestead story that often inspires my work.

I’ve also been happily fiddling with a collection of my miniature artworks this morning.

Both the painting and miniatures will be available for sale at FOD Café on Conway Lane, Rangiora if you’d like to pop in and see them.
