Congratulations to Mel Eaton - Design for Print, Screen & Art on her expert vision and design of the Kaiapoi Bridge artwork panels. They tell the history of Kaiapoi in beautiful, intricate detail. The end result is going to be fantastic!

It was fun seeing the panels being laser etched at Larsen Signs in Kaiapoi. What an amazing and hypnotic process!

If you have a passion for art, and would like to see more artworks in our community, put your name forward to join the Waimakariri Public Arts Trust team.

Responsibilities will include:
- Promotion of art and culture in the Waimakariri District
- Seeking funding from external providers
- Leadership role for Waimakariri Public Arts Trust finances or social media or website management
- Supporting commissioned artists.

The Trust are excited to be involved as advisors on this project for the Waimakariri District Council.

The project provides an opportunity for skilled and experienced artist/s to make their mark on Rangiora by having their work potentially selected and permanently exhibited on a main thoroughfare.
