It's been a while since I did anything but I got hit with a random wave of creativity. I've always wanted to do an eye but have been quite intimidated by their detail. I decided to try it in a slightly looser style. This is actually watercolour with coloured pencils. It was so fun and I actually love the layering of the watercolour and pencils, I will definitely be doing more drawings like that in the future!

Another commission finished!
Brindle is very time consuming and some parts of this were painstakingly slow, but I got there in the end. This was actually so fun to do, I love drawing different dogs.

I've been working on reorganizing my room and I realized I have way too much art stuff with nowhere for it to go! After some shopping and rearranging I finally got it all sorted.
Here is my brand new, freshly organised "drawing stuff" drawer! I'm absolutely obsessed with how neat it all is now. Hopefully all this neatness and organisation comes out in my drawings!😁

I've never drawn a car before so I thought I'd give it a go, and while I was at it, why not challenge myself and do a rally car! The logos and stickers were very fiddly but it's turned out alright for a first try! This is a Lancia Delta Integrale, which, according to my dad, is the coolest rally car.
I'm going to have to do more like this in the future as it was actually quite fun!

2026 is officially here! This year I want to try and broaden my artistic horizons some more by exploring different subject matter, mediums and techniques. I currently have about 4 drawings on the go (I'm not very good at staying focused😅) and they're all a bit different so I'm quite excited to finish them.

Finished! This handsome boy is Ted and I hand delivered it earlier today. My absolute favourite thing about drawing pictures for people is their reactions, so I'm super happy I could hand this one off.
Horses are so fun and easy to draw in my opinion, so this was a nice one to start with after my portfolio was done.

After many months working solely in colour with a lot of wet mediums, it's very relieving to be able to work in graphite once again.
This one is in the shabby stages still but I'm finding it quite relaxing to be working monochromatically.
That being said, a bit of colour sometimes is quite fun so maybe I'll do more in the future🫣

I am officially finished highschool now having had our prizegiving last night. As part of my gift to my favourite teachers, I drew them all a picture.
For my art teacher I drew the scarlet macaw, for my biology teacher I drew the kea and for my English teacher I drew the tui.
I sometimes like drawing super colourful things so these were quite fun.

I bought myself a few new coloured pencils to try out and became slightly obsessed with drawing miniature baby animals😍
The first one I did was the calf and although it was just a quick sketch I quickly fell in love and did the foal, then finally the 3 wild animal babies. The 3 final ones took about an hour each, but they are so fun to do! My favourite has got to be the zebra❤️
With a little more practise I'll probably start taking more colour commissions👀🫣
