For me, Nia is a practice that keeps on giving in so many different ways. The connection I experience when dancing in a vibrant Nia community like the one in Kerikeri last Saturday has the ability to multiply the benefits Nia exponentially in ways I haven't received before. My heart is filled to overflowing, my spirit is nourished and my mind calm and centred. This one photo captures only a fraction of my experience but when I look at it I am instantly transported back to those sensations. These 2 teachers, Carien Edwards and Hana Stevenson were part of an epic 4 part dream team with myself and Diana Burgess. Keep a watch out for more photos from this phenomenal Nia experience as we were lucky enough to have a professional photographer dancing with us while she took photos. 🥰🤩Enjoy your own unique experience of Nia when you choose to step into class. A quick reminder that there is No Nia class on this Saturday 9th Nov in Te Uku. The Raglan Freedom to Fly festival is on so the Te Uku hall is not available. I will be gifting my time to this fabulous Nia Jam fundraiser in Kerikeri for Lucy Stevenson's AFS trip to Bolivia.
