Our hearts are absolutely full. Three packed-out shows, thousands of smiling faces, and a whole lot of festive magic shared across our community !

🎁 Drop a Gift at the Christmas Show

This year the local Salvation Army has seen a jump in families needing support, on top of rising food costs. So we’re helping them fill the Gift Grotto with presents for local whānau.

If you're coming to the show, you can drop off a new, unwrapped gift for any age group.
We’ll have big collection boxes at the entrance, and the Salvation Army team will be there helping us welcome you in.

Other drop-off locations (until 20 Dec):
• 71 Gorge Road
• 8 Pin Oak Ave
• Kmart Entrance – Queenstown Central

We’re pretty stoked to see two of our young cast sharing their experience with the wider community. They’ve put in a huge effort, and it’s awesome to see their excitement shining through.

🌍 Step into The World of Christmas! In 2024, audiences travelled the globe without leaving Queenstown — from the snowy North Pole to a summer Christmas in Aotearoa, meeting characters and cultures celebrating in their own unique ways.

🎄 Led by an incredible cast of locals — Yule Cat (Scarlett Hamilton), Holly (Scarlett Cruickshank), Robin (Charlie Pagan), Stubby (Lucy Huse), Door Slammer (Ivy Wedd), Spoon‑Licker (Elie Skye Payze), Doorway Sniffer (Ava Pienaar) and Sausage Swiper (Thahan Weeraddana) — the stage came alive with festive mischief and magic.

✨ Supported by a brilliant ensemble (Oisin Cantwell, Arka Huck, Zara Black, Amelia Wilson, Addisyn Miller, Nina Harrison, Maddison Hearn, Yuzuki Muta), soaring backing vocals from Helena Hornbacher, Indy Hamilton, Ruby Pullar, Sophia Brown and Sophie Thompson, and a powerhouse dance troupe featuring Anju Okajima, Leonor Romero, Thea Cosgrove, Zoe Thurston, Erika Clay, Ivy Sim, Chloe Cao, Amy Franklin, Sequoia Wallace, Alexis Fluit and Etta Cosgrove.

🎪 With stunning performances from Wakatipu Conservatoire, Silk & Circus and the Queenstown Gymnastics Club, it was a joyful showcase of music, movement and community spirit that filled the Events Centre with Kiwi Christmas energy.

🐭 Remember Murray the Mouse — the tiny hero with a huge heart?
In 2023 we learned that the real gift is what we give, not what we get.
Sixty local performers lit up the stage with dance, circus and joy — and Queenstown answered with cheers.

🔔 2022 was a cracker of a show! The 12 Bells of Christmas followed five cheeky kids — Smarty (Indy Hamilton), Rebel (Charlie Pagan), Gloomy (Kuratea Huck), Cutie (Tatum Hookey) and Freaky (Scarlett Hamilton) — as they raced around Queenstown to find Granny’s missing bells and save Christmas.

🎭 Joined by Granny (Dana Hamilton), Santa (Marc Hamilton) and a few mischievous cats, (and then we had the full Hamilton family on stage!) with a fire-dancing cameo from Anna Stuart, the stage was alight with local stars.

From the dancers of DEVOS and Wakatipu Conservatoire to the Queenstown Gymnastics Club and the ever-iconic Remarkables Men’s Ballet, it was pure Kiwi Christmas fun — full of music, chaos and sparkle.
