Next Thursday, returns to Tiny Room Concerts with She’s Just A Girl And She Fights Fires - a powerful, funny and moving look at the people behind New Zealand’s Volunteer Fire Service.

By day (and night), Teegs is one of the 12,000 volunteer firefighters New Zealand communities rely on. In She’s Just A Girl and She Fights Fires, she shares powerful, funny, and moving stories about the incredible people behind the uniform - volunteers you know, and some you don’t - who show up when you need them most.

Joined by Alex Pyle, Elis Davies, Martin Rylev and special guests, with music from Imelda May, Ed Sheeran, Sam & Dave and more.

Last night, Charlotte Graf and her incredible band brought GOLD DUST WOMAN to life at The Blue Door, celebrating the music, magic and unmistakable sounds of Stevie Nicks and Christine McVie.

Warm, cosy and tucked away down the alley, The Blue Door was filled with live music and a little magic for the night.

Margaret O’Hanlon/WhirlwindNZ Margaret took us from the streets of New York to New Zealand’s electric blue skies, weaving a semi-fictional story of a lifelong relationship with David Bowie through his music, memories and a little bit of magic.

Next Thursday SOLD OUT. So we’ve added another night. 🖤✨

After both shows on Thursday 20 August sold out, Violet Hirst’s Dance Pop is taking over The Blue Door for an extra night on Wednesday 19 August, with shows at 6.30pm & 8.30pm.

From the bedroom mirror to the music videos, Pop Dance is Violet Hirst’s affectionate dive into the glittering world of pop’s biggest icons. Lady Gaga, Madonna, Beyonce, Britney Spears, Rihanna and more all make an appearance in a show that celebrates the music, the movement and the sheer joy of committing wholeheartedly to a great pop song.

Joined by two dancers, Violet brings a playful new dimension to the Tiny Room stage. It’s part concert, part dance show, part love letter to an era of unforgettable hooks and iconic choreography—and proof that dance and the pop-singers of the early 2000’s will forever be entwined.

Violet is joined by Barbara Goldammer, Treetip, Leo McMenamin and Eby Sebastian.
