The hour blue. 🏙
Story time: When I got myself a camera, about 5 years ago, I was super excited and used to carry it around wherever I went. Day or night, if I was out, I was with my camera. After thousands of photos and hundreds of YouTube videos later, I discovered the optimal times for landscape photography. Golden hour, sunset, blue hour and twilight (look them up 🔎). It completely changed the way I took pictures.
Now I plan ahead and when everything comes together as I had envisaged, it is much more satisfying. Not saying that spontaneous shoots aren’t fun. The occasional spontaneity is still there and it still excites me, meticulous planning and ex*****on has its own thrill.

One that wasn’t there.
The weather is cooling down and people are getting out to enjoy the weather. I went out to the beach too. With a proper mask, sanitisation and social distancing of course. But underestimated the time to reach there. Hence, missed the sunset. So put my own moon up there. 🌙

Crimson Curve.
Sometimes, most of the times lately, everyday actually; I wish I could just go to that dream destination, away from it all.
But let’s be honest, we, who are luxuriously scrolling away through Instagram have had it easy. It’s time to be patient and responsible. Take this time to call up friends and loved ones and have long conversations about nothing and everything.
And yes, that evening was unreal when I took this picture. Purely magical ✨

There is a lot going on in this image. It’s something our lives are right now, a chaos that we are trying to navigate. And each and every one one of us is dealing with it in our own way, the best we know it.

It’s a struggle out there. Things are not the same as they were. Places have lost their meaning. Those who have someone to share this uneasiness are lucky. Sometimes all you have is you, yourself. You want to just feel; something... anything! You talk to yourself, console yourself, give yourself hope and advice; and promise yourself there will be better days.
