Established in 2012, Lakes ballet Twizel offers bbodance Classical Ballet and Jazz
dance training for all ages. Based in the picturesque village of Twizel, dancers from throughout the Mackenzie
District are inspired to embrace their love of dance. Our studio is a quaint Church Hall, providing delightfully charming surroundings to
study the art of dance. Lakes ballet Twizel is a registered dance st
udio with bbodance Australasia. Miss A’ndrea is a fully qualified dance teacher with bbodance teaching membership. We offer examinations, the opportunity to perform in our annual Showcase and the
option to attend bbodance Dance Days in Christchurch annually. Our students have enjoyed many successes over the years in all these endeavours. Lessons begin from 4 years of age in our Twinkle Toes classes. These lessons
introduce young students to the exciting world of dance through an expressive
learning environment. Classical Ballet lessons develop discipline, strength and coordination. At Lakes ballet
Twizel, we believe classical ballet is the basis of all dance. We offer lessons from
Pre-Primary to Advanced 2 level. Jazz Dance lessons help boost strength, flexibility and coordination. These classes
are an excellent way for students to express their emotions and gain confidence in
their individuality. Lessons begin for 6 year olds at Grade 1 level. Lakes ballet Twizel
