Permeated with personal and cultural iconography, Claudia Kogachi's inaugural exhibition ‘Another Day’ with Gow Langsford transports us into a distinct world where experience and fantasy collide.

This semester the University of Auckland's Faculty of Arts and Education introduced Art History 329, which explores core elements of art curation, including exhibition-making and collection management. Students study private and public collections around Tāmaki Makaurau, and learn from industry professionals in order to enhance their knowledge of career paths in the arts.

Students were tasked with creating social media content to promote the 2026 Aotearoa Art Fair as part of their coursework. Combining applied and practical learning, the students created short form videos that highlight the rich network of our GLAM sectors, bringing their learning into the public eye. Course director Mikayla Journee, as well as some of the Art History 329 students, shared their thoughts.

Melanie Tangaere Baldwin's debut exhibition with Season, 'If I offered you my fingernails, would you take them?' is now showing.

The six paintings depict Hinenuitepō, Murirangawhenua, Mahuika, and Taranga, whose jet-black hair forms a continuous landscape across the works.
