Don't forget Sundays Super Satellite for The UPW.
A minimum buy in of $10 could see you win a $160 Main Event seat and a $50 Bounty ticket for the Labour Weekend event.

Look for Jo or Tahu in The Atrium when registration opens at 11. Cards fly at 1130, with 15 minute blinds, and unlimited $5 rebuys till the break at 1230 when you can then get a $10 add on.

On Sunday we're going to spin up some hands and see what sticks in the Super Satellite Series for the UPW at Labour Weekend.

You could win a package which includes a seat for the 2026 $160 UPW Main Event and the 2026 UPW $50 Bounty Game. The Main Event will be played on Saturday 24 October, with Day 2 being played on Sunday 25 October. Sunday 25 October is also the day we will run the Bounty Game.

No cash prizes are offered for these satellites; only tickets to the games.

Satellite starts at 11.30am next Sunday 30 August in The Atrium with registration opening at 11.00am and late reg available until the end of the first break - around 12.30pm and 15min blinds

It's that time of the year again where we spin up some hands and see what sticks in the Super Satellite Series for the UPW at Labour Weekend.

Today's freezeout attracted 32 entries, not surprising on a bitter cold day outside.
Final table was found just before 5pm and all wrapped up before 6:30pm.
Top 4 were to be paid but a bubble deal was made, chipping a bit of the top 3 which still left $1200 up top, so the 5 to cash were
5th: Jo French, 4th Tim Chan, 3rd Konga Reriti leaving Sam Clark and Jay Gilbert heads with Jay prevailing after a 20 minute battle.

The 2026 Ultimate Poker Weekend is now on sale!!

Featuring 3 games played over 3 days, there's plenty of poker action on offer.

The weekend kicks off with the Welcome game starting at 5:00pm on Friday 23rd October.

Then we have the UPW Main Event starting on Saturday 24th October at 9:00am with a $160 buy-in and a maximum prizepool of $39,590. The Main Event concludes on Sunday 25th October once the final 18 has been found or we reach level 23.

On Sunday 25th October, we have the UPW Bounty game with a $50 buy-in and $20 to be won from each person you knock out.
