And that’s a wrap on term 2!!

To our awesome teachers—thank you for the passion, commitment, and care you bring to every class. Week after week you’ve shown up with fun & creative choreography, endless encouragement, and a genuine investment in each dancer’s growth. This term I’ve noticed such a lift in our students’ strength, confidence, and technical skill development, and that is a reflection of the time and heart you pour into what you do.

To our beautiful students—thank you for coming each week ready to learn, work hard, and give your best. Your enthusiasm, effort and willingness to challenge yourselves is what makes me truly proud.

I’m also so proud that many of our exam classes have already completed their exam work this term. That means Term 3 can be dedicated to refining, polishing, and striving for excellence as we prepare for exams & our start exciting work in our dance show 🥳

It’s been a term filled with growth, progress, and moments to celebrate, and I couldn’t be prouder!

Wishing everyone a happy, safe, and well-deserved holiday break. Rest, recharge, and enjoy! We can’t wait to welcome you back for an exciting Term 3! ✨💜

Unfortunately, this is a post I hoped I’d never have to write😢

One of our youngest dancers, 4-year-old, Nala, has been diagnosed with cancer. Just two weeks ago, she was prancing around at dancing—full of joy, energy, and the brightest smile.

This news is a complete shock. It’s devastating—every parent’s worst nightmare.

Not only is Nala a student, but her mum Mil is a good friend of mine. In the space of a week, their lives have been turned upside down. They’ve had to leave their home and jobs in Wellington to move to Starship Children’s Hospital, where Nala will begin a long and unimaginable journey.

If you’re in a position to support them, it would mean so much to their family. Thank you ❤️
