We are a Singer and Brother authorised dealer and exclusive stockists of Mercury machines. We also sell Coats industrial threads and Gütermann domestic threads, a range of haberdashery, needles, scissors, dress forms, sewing lamps, sewing tables and other sewing and patternmaking accessories. Our industrial machines include bag sewers, straight and round electric knives, and steam irons.

If you’re due for a little day out, we’re 12 minutes from the city, surrounded by boutique shops, and so many good spots for lunch.

We’re open for 2026 in our new showroom. A creative space we've designed in collaboration with Goody Goodness so you can tick off sewing supplies and locally made creative gifts in one go.

We're closed Sundays this year. Open: Mon 10–4, Tue–Sat 10–4:30

We believe in silver linings, and although these past 18 months have been testing, it given us the opportunity to refine our vision for the shop and embark on a new beginning.

During this time, we have developed a new team of dedicated professionals who share our passion for providing exceptional products and experiences. We have refined our offerings and redesigned the space to provide a more inviting and enjoyable shopping experience for you.

We will return to our usual business hours next week, starting Monday 10th July.

To our lovely customers - It’s been a while. We’ve been working away in what you could call “survival mode” these past 15 months. As many of you know, we quietly opened our doors again but our business has been significantly impacted by Ana’s slow road to recovery.

Yesterday was the day we’ve all been waiting for. With 24 hours notice she went in for another major surgery, which should be the last before we can return to normality. But as she recovers we will have reduced capacity over the next 4 weeks and there’s a few changes in-store as of Monday.

We will maintain our core operations of sending online orders, repairing machines and offering lessons/classes. Our store will be open with reduced hours, but we are limiting custom orders and there will be delays with additional product enquires & call-outs.

We are so thankful for all your support to date. Once this is over you will start to hear more from us here and in store.
