Grayson Gilmour is an award-winning songwriter, film score composer and performer, known as a solo artist and as part of the post-punk outfit So So Modern.

Grayson’s musical career began in high school and at The Stomach(!), with self-released EPs earning reviews in national publications. He went on to tour internationally, supporting the likes of Caribou, Foals and Dirty Projectors, and has released music on labels in New Zealand, the UK, Germany, Austria and Japan.

His move into film scoring has seen him win a Silver Scroll for Consent: The Louise Nicholas Story, take out Best Score at the NZ Film Awards for The Most Fun You Can Have Dying, and work on Joseph Gordon-Levitt’s A24/Apple TV series Mr. Corman.

His recent solo album Holding Patterns has been praised by NZ music critic Nick Bollinger for its “powerful kinetic polyrhythms” — a record that showcases his musical curiosity and love of collaboration.

Hot off their National Battle of the Bands win, Kokoa Nashi announce their first international tour, heading to Tokyo and Osaka, Japan, with the Philippines now added.

Four years since their last release, Kokoa Nashi are stepping into a new era with an upcoming single and debut album campaign. This special show also serves as a fundraiser to support the band as they take their music from Te Papa-i-Ōea to the international stage and contribute to the completion of their debut album.

Featuring close friends Ovus from Wellington, up-and-coming local act Watercolour, and video game cover artist Jacob Wai.

Featuring Super Smash Bros. and Tekken 8, with equipment provided by the legends and our sponsors at PING ZERO.

Following the release of their debut album, Murderous Intent, Crook are undertaking a 9 date national tour through May-June to make friends and influence people. Come, listen and see.
Crook; Aki (Girls Pi***ng on Girls Pi***ng, Horror in Clay), Hugh (Alec, Caroles), Fraser (Heroes for Sale, Juiceroof), and Aaron (Saturnian Noise Collective, The Pleasure Majenta), are skipping down to Te Papaioea, joined by:

THE FAIRLIGHT CHOIR
Hailing from Manawatū and Horowhenua, Aotearoa post-punk outfit The Fairlight Choir are committed to improvisation, repetition and unfiltered transparency of the creative process. The group’s debut double-single - Source/Code and The Cord - was conceived, gestated and recorded live & uncut in the rehearsal spaces of Papaioea institution The Stomach.
Comprised of Jeremy Nolan (Force Fields, The Postures, The Dukes of Leisure), Bryan Gibson (Fader, Empirical Methods) and Jono Galuszka (First Move, Man In Rug), The Fairlight Choir takes inspiration from provincial blight, the times we inhabit and fresh approaches to long-held traditions.
The Fairlight Choir is preparing to release new music soon, with recording almost complete on a number of new songs.
