Meet Imperial Slave, the Palmy band taking the world by storm! 🔥
Not many bands can say they’ve toured Europe and Japan, played international metal festivals and shared stages with bands they grew up listening to.
But Imperial Slave can!
Since playing their first show together in 2021, they’ve supported some huge names in metal, including Nile, Fear Factory, Vader and Suffocation.
Their music has taken them to festivals in Germany, the Czech Republic and Slovenia, and on a tour of Japan, including Tokyo, where this photo was taken.
Now they’re bringing things back home with a brand new album.
Their first single drops next month, followed by a full album release in October and New Zealand tour, with two shows right here in Palmy on 24 October and 12 December! You can buy tickets at undertheradar.co.nz.
We’re pretty proud to have played a small part in making it happen. Through our Creative Communities Scheme, we supported Imperial Slave to secure well-known German producer Waldemar Sorychta to produce the album at The Stomach.
