The two-night run for Massey University Theatre in Production's When The Rain Stops Falling was a stellar experience for our cast and crew - we thank those who were in the audience on those nights and hope you enjoyed watching it as much as we have worked on it these past couple of months.🎭

Before too much time goes by we would like to make a massive shout-out to the awesome team at Deli-ca-sea for coming to the rescue and providing us with some beautiful fish for the show; Craig, Paula, and Choppa, you're the best! Go and see them for the freshest fish in town!! 🐟💙

The second and closing night for Massey University Theatre in Production's When The Rain Stops Falling is TONIGHT at 7pm, in the Sir Geoffrey Peren Auditorium here at Palmerston North's Massey University campus 💙

Tonight's show is super, super special, as the Massey Manawatu campus is not running this paper internally after this semester, so this show is most likely going to be the last production.
So, no plans tonight? We would love to see you at our show. It's Koha entry, and the cast and crew have put their hearts and souls into this production and it is definitely not one to miss. 🎭

The opening night of the When The Rain Stops Falling production is only a few evenings away - we'd love to see you there!! 🌧️

Come down on Wednesday, October 19th, to the Sir Geoffrey Peren Auditorium on the Massey University campus in Palmerston North for a once-in-a-lifetime depiction of a story, about the accumulation of years of emotional realities, that influenced multiple generations of a family.

Here is the third and final lot of cast announced for Massey University Theatre in Production's When The Rain Stops Falling!!🌧

The older version of Gabrielle York is portrayed by Aria Barkley. In her 50s, Gabrielle has lived many years in a grievance. She is suffering from health issues where she often finds herself threatened and confused in the ordinary, putting a severe strain on her life and relationship with Joe Ryan.

Gabrielle York and Gabriel Law have a son named Gabriel York. In his 50s, Gabriel follows a reclusive lifestyle. He stays regrettably disconnected from society and family until a surprise call from his son causes him to confront his past which he struggles to understand.

Graxe Hadfield has joined the cast as Andrew York, the son of Gabriel York. Intense weather conditions around the globe pose a potential end of the world, and the 28-year-old has taken it upon himself to use whatever time may be left to find his father, and push for answers about his family history.

• You can see this cast in action when the show makes its Palmerston North debut, on the 19th and 20th of October at 7pm, at the Sir Geoffrey Peren Building Auditorium. We hope to see you there!

Announcing the second lot of cast for Massey University Theatre in Production's When The Rain Stops Falling!!🌧

Braden Johnston portrays Joe Ryan, the 50-year-old husband of an older Gabrielle York. Joe is devoted to Gabrielle but faces constant pressure as his wife battles health issues that he cannot control.

A younger Gabrielle York is played by Brie Nelson. Gabrielle, in her early 20s, is still coming to terms with the deaths of her parents and brother when she is unexpectedly swept off her feet by Gabriel Law.

And Kaleb Nielsen portrays Gabriel Law, a man in his late 20s who has come to Australia desperately seeking answers about his family, but a chance meeting with Gabrielle York results in a connection he didn't anticipate.

Announcing the first lot of cast for Massey University Theatre in Production's When The Rain Stops Falling!!🌧

Molly Sheridan plays a young Elizabeth Law - the 30-year-old wife of Henry Law. A philosopher at heart, she struggles with the newfound responsibilities of becoming a mother to her son.

Lily Evans portrays an older Elizabeth in her late 50s, whose relationship with her son, Gabriel Law, is strained, after years of trying to protect him from painful truths.

Henry Law, played by Aiden Wilson, is the loving husband of Elizabeth Law who is in his late 30s. Henry strives to be the best husband and father to his child, despite getting drawn to troubling situations.
